Pain Management Provider Nishant Gandhi, DO
Dr. Nishant Gandhi was born and raised in State College, Pennsylvania. He attended Penn State for his undergraduate studies and Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM) for medical school, completing his clinical rotations in the Pittsburgh area. He completed his residency in Anesthesiology at the prestigious Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland, and a fellowship in critical care medicine at Columbia University in New York City.
He lived and worked in New York City for 7 years, proudly caring for veterans undergoing surgical procedures with the James J Peters Bronx VA Medical Center. Dr. Gandhi has also completed a pain medicine fellowship at Mount Sinai Hospital, and has since returned to his Pennsylvania roots, joining Pain and Spine Specialists of Pennsylvania in the fall of 2018.
Dr. Gandhi focuses on a ‘whole-body’ holistic approach to pain management, utilizing multiple modalities of treatment including physical therapy, spinal and joint injections, spinal cord stimulation, and medication assisted therapy. He is board certified in Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine by the American Board of Anesthesiology.
Dr. Gandhi is an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and Penguins fan.
Pain and Spine Specialists of Pennsylvania concentrates on providing superb patient care to those who suffer from moderate to severe pain. The primary outcome is to improve quality of life and overall functionality through comprehensive pain management services that include medication management, physical and chiropractic therapy, interventional treatments, and/or referrals for surgery. The practice strives to treat each and every patient with comprehensive patient care that promotes an individualized treatment paradigm. The secondary outcome is to provide superior patient service to address any and all concerns in a timely manner in order to provide comfort and satisfaction to the patient and his/her family. Alongside in-person appointments, we are not offering access to Tele-medicine services.
