Tasheeker “Sheeka” Williams is a native New Yorker and a mother of two. She started her career in health care at Johns Hopkins Hospital over 20 years ago. She has earned a Bachelors of Science in Nursing and a Masters of Science in Nursing from Coppin State University. Sheeka is currently working on completing her Doctorate of Health Administration from the University of Phoenix, and will earn her PhD in the Fall of 2021.
Sheeka has a great love for the arts and is especially passionate about dance. For many years Sheeka has performed and toured with the world-renowned Alvin Ailey Dance Company and the prestigious Dance Theatre of Harlem. She has also earned an Associates degree in the arts from Baltimore City Community College.
She is a passionate advocate for giving back to the community. She is a philanthropist and the founder of a 503c for inner city young ladies (ages 8-21).
Sheeka believes in approaching treatment and patient care holistically. She understands a patient's quality of life takes precedence. Her goal for her patients is to be able to assist them returning to an ideal level of functionality and normalcy.
Pain and Spine Specialists of Maryland concentrates on providing superb patient care to those who suffer from moderate to severe pain. The primary outcome is to improve quality of life and overall functionality through comprehensive treatment that includes medication management, physical and chiropractic therapy, interventional treatments, and/or referrals for surgery. The secondary outcome is to provide superior patient service to address any and all concerns in a timely manner in order to provide comfort and satisfaction to the patient and his/her family.
