Dr. Greg Hites grew up in the Western Pennsylvania region. He attended Robert Morris University and Slippery Rock University where he was awarded: a Doctorate of Nursing Practice, a Masters of Nursing, a Masters of Education, and bachelors in both Nursing and Biology. He started his professional career as an investigator in the US Food and Drug Administration, then onto the Department of Veteran Affairs working at the University Drive Medical Center. He has also taught in an adjunct faculty role at both Robert Morris and Duquesne Universities located in Pittsburgh.
Dr. Hites believes in the holistic approach of treating patients, this allows the patient to be treated in the acute phases of pain management but also allows for education to promote and prevent further recurrences. He strives to treat patients with dignity and the respect that they all deserve.
Pain and Spine Specialists of Pennsylvania concentrates on providing superb patient care to those who suffer from moderate to severe pain. The primary outcome is to improve quality of life and overall functionality through comprehensive pain management that includes medication management, physical and chiropractic therapy, interventional treatments, and/or referrals for surgery. The practice strives to treat each and every patient with the highest quality of patient care and promote an individualized treatment paradigm. The secondary outcome is to provide superior patient service to address any and all concerns in a timely manner in order to provide comfort and satisfaction to the patient and his/her family. In addition to in-person appointments, we are now providing the option for Tele-health services.
