Suhas Badarinah, MD
Dr. Badarinath, or Dr. B as his patients know him, was born and raised in central New Jersey. He attended college at Rutgers University and medical school at the Medical College of Virginia. He completed his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Sinai Hospital/the University of Marylsand, where he served as chief resident. He completed his fellowship in Pain Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. During this year, his focus was on fluoroscopically guided spinal procedures and he was involved in research projects. He then worked in a private practice along the Jersey Shore before deciding to join Dr. Rao at Pain and Spine Specialists of Maryland.
Dr. Badarinath is a Physiatrist who believes in a balanced and multi-disciplinary approach to diagnose and treat his patient?s pain complaints. As a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) physician, Dr. Badarinath treats a wide variety of medical conditions affecting the brain, spinal cord, nerves, bones, joints, ligaments, muscles, and tendons. He offers a combination of exercise therapies, spinal procedures, and medications to best treat his patients. He also offers spinal cord stimulation options for patients, and he is skilled in EMG tests to accurately diagnose painful conditions. He is a diplomat of the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and American Board of Pain Medicine.
